public interface SubjectIdentity

Obtained from a SecurityRealm to provide a Subject representing the servers identity. This identity is returned instead of just the Subject as it adds the ability to logout so that the Subject can be cleaned up.

void	logout() Clean up this instance and logout any identity associated with the Subject.

Method Detail

getSubject

Subject getSubject()

Get the Subject instance wrapped by this SubjectIdentity. This method will always return the same instance of Subject and will never return null.

Returns:

The associated Subject

Throws:

IllegalStateException - If called after logout()

logout

void logout()

Clean up this instance and logout any identity associated with the Subject. After this method is called the instance of this SubjectIdentity should be discarded as it will no longer be useable to obtain a Subject instance.
